Media for AI filmmakers
Format: Freelance (first months) → potential full-time
Location: Remote
Language: Fluent English (C1-C2)
FunCorp is a creative-tech company building products at the intersection of entertainment and emerging technologies. We’re launching a new media format focused on AI-powered fictional storytelling and creator-driven narrative platforms, and we’re looking for a Chief Editor & Writer to build it from the ground up.
This role is text-first, writing is the core.
What This Role Really Is
We’re starting a niche, insight-driven publication covering:
- AI-powered fictional content ecosystems
- UGC platforms enabling narrative formats
- Creator-led development
- Short-form character-driven storytelling
- Distribution mechanics behind high-performing narrative content
What You’ll Do (First Months)
- Define and own the content strategy
- Write case studies on AI filmmaking projects
- Interview AI filmmakers (written and live)
- Create blog and social media content
- Publish under your name on LinkedIn and X
Future Scope (Optional)
Over time, the role may expand into:
- Community development
- Social media setup and editorial packaging
- Distribution strategy
But writing remains the foundation.
Who You Are
- Fluent in English
- Structured, analytical thinker
- Deeply curious about AI tools, narrative formats and creator economies
- Comfortable conducting interviews
- Independent and proactive
- Hands-on builder
- You should already be publishing on LinkedIn and/or X.
Audience size doesn’t matter, consistency and independent thinking do.
You enjoy asking:
Why did this format scale?
What structural advantage did this creator have?
What platform mechanics amplified this story?
Why This Role Is Unique
This is not a copywriting job and not a social media manager role.
It’s an opportunity to:
- Build a respected industry voice
- Become deeply embedded in the AI creative ecosystem
- Work at the intersection of storytelling, marketing, and technology
If you’re genuinely curious about AI-powered storytelling and how creator ecosystems actually work – we’d love to talk.
